Pegasus travelled to north Shropshire to play Market Drayton Town in the 2nd Qualifying Round of the Isuzu FA Vase.
The North West Counties League side were unable to contain the stronger Hereford side.
The game as a contest was over inside half an hour, as Pegasus stopped the opposition playing, then capitalised on their mistakes.
Pegasus scored following their first corner kick of the game. A Town defender handled the ball above his head. The referee immediately pointed to the penalty spot.
Seven minutes had elapsed when Saul Thomas calmly placed the ball past goalkeeper Josh Hyde.
Five minutes later, Thomas muscled his way through the home defence before rifling the ball into the top corner of the goal from 25 metres.
A minute later, Zac Powell threaded the ball into the penalty area into the path of Lewis Rose, he beat three defenders but his shot was blocked by the feet of the goalkeeper however, Rose was first to react and squeezed the ball into the net.
Pegasus continued to manage the game, with the defenders snuffing out any attacking threat from the Gingerbread men.
After twenty five minutes Connor Davies-Austin forced his way between opposition players to win the ball on the halfway line, his shot flew into the top corner past the statuesque keeper.
Just short of the hour mark Carlos Moreira beat his marker before being upended inside the penalty area. Saul Thomas scored from the spot.
The home side continued to press to get on the score sheet but, Pegasus defenders were always that much better as they protected their clean sheet.
On Monday, the name of Pegasus will be in the draw for the first round of the competition.
