A planning application has been submitted to build 25 residential properties in a Herefordshire village.
The planning application, published on Monday 27th June, details plans to build 25 houses in the Gilberts Wood area of Ewyas Harold.
Some of the development is believed to be for social, affordable or immediate rent housing.
The site would be accessed via the B4347, which runs north to south along the western side of the proposed development.
Ewyas Harold has a local shop, a local pub (The Dog Inn) and a takeaway restaurant (The Old Stables) within 750m of the site.
A bus stop is located approximately 200m south from the proposed site access on the junction of the A4347 & Elm Green Road. This stop is served by the 440 which travels from Abbeydore to Hereford with 4 services per day and the 442 which travels from Clehonger to Abergavenny which runs twice a day.
The closest railway stations to the site are Hereford (16km) and Abergavenny (16km) railway stations.
