A carp weight almost 40lb was caught in Herefordshire over the bank holiday weekend!
The carp was caught in the Ox Bow Lake at Letton Court Fishery. It is therefore one of the biggest ever caught in the United Kingdom!
A small number of carp weighing more than 60lb have been caught in the United Kingdom before, but it is extremely rare to catch one that big.
The carp, last caught at Letton Court Fisheries 14 years ago now weighs 20lb more than it did back then.
