Three people have been arrested in connection with a fatal collision on the B4228 in the Forest of Dean on Friday.
Investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw either a blue Ford Fiesta or a silver Volkswagen Golf driving between Coleford and Sling prior to the collision.
Police are also asking for anyone with dashcam footage of either of these vehicles to please contact them.
The collision involved a blue Ford Fiesta and a red Mini at around 5.15pm between the villages of Sling and St Braivels, near to the Orepool Inn.
Emergency services attended and the driver of the Mini, a local woman aged in her 30s, died at the scene. Her family is being supported by specialist officers.
The driver of the Fiesta remains in hospital after he sustained serious injuries.
Earlier today (Saturday) three people were arrested in connection with the incident. Two people have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, and one of them has also been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
A third person attended a police station this evening and was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. They all remain in police custody.
