Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews have managed to put out a fire at a disused building on Eign Street in Hereford this evening, but crews remain on the scene and are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
Several crews from across Herefordshire and Worcestershire were called to the fire at shortly after 6.30pm this evening. West Mercia Police also attended the incident and Eign Street was closed before reopening at 10pm.
The Incident Command Unit remains on the scene and the footpath alongside the building remains closed.
