The Hereford FC supporters travelling up to York yesterday could’ve been excused for fearing the worst, with the club bottom of the table and the weather matching the mood.
However what was served up was far from miserable from the Bulls, with manager Josh Gowling describing the performance from his side as ‘unbelievable’ and he also took time to thank the supporters that made the long trip north is horrendous conditions.
Brandon Hall was the hero for the Bulls after making a great save and also saving a penalty, before Tom Owen-Evans took advantage of a mistake by the York goalkeeper to win the game for Hereford.
The result lifts Hereford from the bottom of the table and up to 15th position.
