There will be a special four-day Bank Holiday weekend from 2-5 June 2022 to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
On 6th February 2022, The Queen will mark 70 years as reigning Queen and a weekend of celebrations have been planned for June.
At the time of the Platinum Jubilee the Queen will be 96 years-old. On the Thursday, Trooping the Colour will take place before a Thanksgiving will take place at St Paul’s Cathedral on the Friday.
Then on Saturday, the Queen will attend the Derby at Epsom before communities across the United Kingdom will be invited to take part in a Big Jubilee Lunch on the Sunday. Street Parties are expected to take place across the country with a huge celebration planned.
