THE PUBS ARE OPENING! Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed that from 12th April, beer gardens across England can reopen. We have a number of lovely beer gardens in Herefordshire and here’s a selection of the ones that will be opening next Monday.
The Bay Horse – Hereford
“We are reopening our garden area on Monday 12th April from 12 noon onwards, we advise that you book a table to avoid disappointment.”
Left Bank / Koffie Pot – Hereford
De Koffie Pot/Left Bank will reopen on Monday 12th April for outdoor drinking and dining. Places are booking up quickly so head to their website today to book your slot. (We’ll have more details on their plans later this week….)
The Spread Eagle – Hereford
“As you’ve been reading our posts, you can already guess that we are absolutely buzzing to get them doors back open to you guys!
“However, there will still be rules that you need to follow and we really do hope you can abide by these as we don’t want to be asking you to leave. Masks will still need to be worn until seated in our garden. RULE OF 6 – NO MIXING TABLES. The only time you should be stood up is if you are using our toilets, entering or leaving the premises. A ONE WAY SYSTEM will still be in place with TABLE SERVICE from our fantastic team.”
The Oak Inn – Staplow nr Ledbury
The Oak Inn at Staplow have really put maximum effort into reopening, with a new sheltered patio area in the beer garden so that you can enjoy your return to the pub in this beautiful corner of Herefordshire.
The Oxford Arms – Hereford
“We cannot wait to open our doors (Garden) for you all! We cannot wait to welcome everyone back on the 12th April.
“All COVID safety measures will be in place and we ask that everyone respects our staff and each other by adhering to the rules.
Don’t worry you can still enjoy yourselves. More benches added and two big screens in place to keep updated with sports.”
The Wye Inn – Hereford
“Exciting times ahead, following on from the government’s announcement that the next step on the roadmap is good to go it means we will be reopening on Monday 12th April.
“We have purchased a stretch tent to provide an undercover area of the garden too.
“Our huge garden space will be available for tables to book for groups of up to 6 people (from any number of households) or any number of people from only 2 households.
“We are working on the up to date guidelines and will be updating our risk assessments and COVID polices over the next few days. We cannot wait to be open again and to welcome customers old and new.”
The White Lion – Leominster
The White Lion has a huge outdoor space, ideal to enjoy a pint and watch the sun set on a warm spring day. Located near Leominster Railway Station.
The Brewers Arms – Hereford
“From 12th April, we will be open to welcome you back for the fun banter and beer you all love. Looking forward to seeing your faces from the Brewers team new and old.”
The Mill Race – Walford, Ross-on-Wye
“Its been a very busy couple of weeks here at The Mill Race. We have created an outdoor space ready for you all to enjoy from the 13th of April.
“We can not express how grateful we are for all the support and custom we have received from our customers, both old & new, throughout those really challenging months. Although we enjoyed making every takeaway dish, it will be even better to be able to serve you again at the table, something we are really looking forwards too!”
The Barrels – Hereford
“Our opening hours will be 12-9 Sunday – Thursday and 12-10 Friday and Saturday. These hours are subject to change in May when we are allowed to serve indoors.
“We will not be doing table reservations at this time. We will be unable to show any sports. Also for the people have been asking the table football will not be available as they take up a lot of seating areas. Please be aware we can only have limited numbers due to the rule of 6.”
