Morrisons has started to sell vegan ‘pigs in blankets’ this Christmas and it has sparked a bit of a debate.
Morrisons Vegan No-Pigs in Blankets are made using a blend of jackfruit and chickpeas to give them a mwaty texture and are are hand-wrapped in a crispy streaky pastry blanket to give them the ‘pigs in blankets’ look.
One Facebook user called Valerie said: “Why would you want to buy something that looks like meat?”
Another Facebook user called Simon said: “Why does this remind me of this weeks Naked Attraction.”
Meanwhile, Scott said: “How do you like your no meat? Circumcised or not?”
