Fire crews from Hereford & Worcester Fire & Rescue Service have been called to the City Link Road this morning. Six crews are currently on the scene and a worker from the site told us that they are tackling a fire in a stair block of the new building. The Hereford & Worcester Fire & Rescue Service Incident Command Unit is also present.
Construction workers at the new student apartment blocks have been evacuated.
Police are also in attendance, as is a fast response ambulance.
