Hereford FC are delighted to announce the signing of attacking midfielder Tom Owen-Evans. The former Bristol City academy youngster joins after leaving Scottish Championship side Falkirk earlier this week.
Bulls Head Coach Marc Richards was delighted with the new arrival, telling the official Hereford FC website “I know Tom pretty well and when we had the opportunity to take him it was a bit of a no-brainer.”
After joining Newport County academy after his release from Bristol City, Owen-Evans went on to make his Football League debut for County for who he made over 50 appearances.
Richards went on to add “We’ll add quality, we’ll add goals, we’ll add that attacking threat [with his arrival], he’s an exciting player and I think the fans will enjoy seeing him play. He’s a bit all-action, he plays in midfield, but probably more attacking midfield, he likes to get forward and make things happen, he likes to score goals, but can also do the more ugly side of it when needed.
“He’s also a really good character, I’m really excited in having him in the changing room and getting the boys going.”
