Latest data released by Public Health England shows that only two areas of Herefordshire recorded cases of COVID-19 in the seven days ending 23rd May.
The two areas of the county that recorded cases were:
Hereford Central: 7 new cases (Infection rate of 69.5 cases per 100,000 population)
Colwall, Cradley & Wellington Heath: 3 new cases (Infection rate of 51.5 cases per 100,000 population)
Overall, Herefordshire’s COVID-19 infection rate has fallen down to 12.4 cases per 100,000 population in the seven days ending 23rd May. This is DOWN on the 21.8 cases per 100,000 population that was recorded in the seven days ending 16th May.
