Some of our local football sides switched their usual home kits and wore their away kits on Saturday in support of the people of Ukraine.
Both Hereford Lads Club and Westfields Football Club switched from wearing their usual home kits, in a positive show of solidarity with the people of Ukraine who are going through such an awful time at present with Russia continuing its invasion of the country.
In terms of results, it wasn’t the best of days for promotion chasing Westfields who were beaten 2-0 at home by Westbury United. The ten men of Hereford Lads Club beat Chipping Sodbury 3-1.
Hereford Lads Club Colts also showed their support during their away game at Ledbury Swifts.
