Former Hereford United player Steve Spooner spoke to Matt Healey about his time at Edgar Street. Spooner was signed from Chesterfield in the summer of 1986 by then manager john Newman and made 84 appearances scoring 19 goals.
He is currently the lead professional development coach at Birmingham City and was back in Hereford yesterday as the Birmingham City Under 21 side faced Hereford FC in a pre season friendly.
