Hereford FC are set to team up with the Hereford College of Arts to install artwork at the Blackfriars Street end of the Edgar Street Stadium.
The walls (boundary and rear wall of Blackfriars Street End Stand) are owned by Herefordshire Council and outside the area leased by Hereford FC.
Hereford FC propose working in partnership with Hereford College of Art and have requested permission to erect artwork with a view to enhancing the local area.
The terms of the licence will require Hereford FC to undertake all necessary surveys and investigations to ensure the walls are structurally sound and suitable and that all health and safety requirements are met, seek any necessary planning or other statutory consents, ensure that no obstruction is caused, remove the works on termination of the licence and fully reinstate to the satisfaction of the council.
Herefordshire Council has agreed to grant an annual licence to Hereford Football Club (FC) to erect artwork on walls at Blackfriars Street Hereford.
