From Hereford FC:

Hereford FC is delighted to announce a landmark partnership with MandM, one of the UK’s leading online off-price fashion and sportswear retailers, with MandM becoming the club’s official kit supplier and securing the naming rights to the club’s Edgar Street stadium.

The historic ground will now be known as The MandM Edgar Street Stadium as part of a five-year deal aimed at strengthening ties with the local community and supporting grassroots football.

This deal – which kicks off for the 2025/26 season – sees MandM, one of Herefordshire’s largest employers, reaffirm its commitment to the region, investing in a club that sits at the heart of the community. The deal will also bring significant branding and exposure for MandM around the stadium, including the digital scoreboard and key fan engagement touchpoints, enhancing the matchday experience for supporters.

In addition, MandM will become the club’s official kit supplier, providing both player and replica kits, as well as a broader range of branded Hereford FC training and leisurewear – giving fans an even wider offering of club merchandise to show their support.

Mike Tomkins, Chairman of MandM, commented: “As a company rooted in Herefordshire, we are incredibly proud to partner with Hereford FC and play a role in supporting the club and its loyal fanbase. Football is a powerful force in bringing people together, and we see this sponsorship as a way to give back to the local community that has supported MandM for so many years.”

Hereford FC Chairman, Chris Ammonds, added: “We are very excited to have agreed this deal with MandM – whose Head Office is less than 100 metres from our home – and cannot wait to start working with them.

“As a hugely successful local business, MandM is a perfect partner for us and this deal recreates a historic link to football at Edgar Street, with ‘MandM Sports’ having been the kit supplier to Hereford United under Graham Turner’s tenure back in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

“MandM will be supplying the club’s new home and away strips, as well as all the training and travel clothing the players will wear. MandM will also be able to use their retail expertise to help us improve the types of product we are able to offer supporters.

“What is particularly pleasing about this deal is that not only will we be able to sell replica playing shirts in the club shop, but the use of a local company will now allow us to stock more branded Hereford FC training and leisurewear than ever before.

“I’d like to thank Mike and his team at MandM, for the passion and drive they have shown to make this deal happen and also the club’s General Manager, Jamie Griffiths, and Commercial Director, George Webb, for all their hard work on this over several months.

“This really is an important deal for our football club and I’m very much looking forward to seeing how our relationship with MandM develops over the next few years.”

The partnership will run for five years, with further details on community engagement initiatives and activations to be announced in the coming months.
