The Hereford & District Skittle League has allowed teams to postpone fixtures on Friday 4th November due to Hereford FC’s FA Cup fixture against Portsmouth.
Many people who play skittles on a Friday evening are expected to purchase tickets to watch the Bulls, with the Hereford & District Skittle League offering teams the opportunity to reschedule fixtures.
An update from the Hereford & District Skittle League earlier today said:
“Due to the Hereford F A Cup match on Friday 4th November we have been asked about postponing skittle matches, this has been discussed with Committee and the following has been agreed.
“Wednesday 2nd November is free and matches could be played on that evening.
“If teams are unable to play on a Wednesday due to work commitments, then, for this OCCASION ONLY, the game could be played on Friday December 23rd or Friday December 30th. This will allow the first half of the season to be finalised on time.
“Any game not played by December 30th will be declared null and void with neither team receiving any points.”
