The funeral details have been confirmed for a former Hereford United player who has sadly passed away at the age of 92.
Robert (Bob) Masters who played for Hereford United FC between 1955 and 1963, has passed away at the age of 92 on the 23rd April.
He may be most well known for going in goal in the 1958 FA Cup match against Newport and doing a spectacular job when the goalkeeper dislocated his right elbow, being carried off by both teams in celebration of his performance.
The funeral is taking place at 12:15pm on Wednesday 17th May 2023 at Hereford Crematorium, all are welcome.
