Newcastle United fans have been treated to one the best launch videos going for their new away kit for the 2024-25 season.

The video, which focuses on supporters travelling on a train to an away game, includes a host of current and former Newcastle stars.

The kit has burgundy and navy hoops, which bears a strong resemblance to Newcastle’s famous away kit from the 1995-96 season.

From the ashes of the liquidated Newport County. Hereford United Manager Ian Bowyer signed Darren Peacock on a free transfer in April 1989.

Peacock originally played as a striker but was later converted to centre half. He was at Edgar Street until December 1990 when he was then sold to QPR for £175,000.

After becoming a success at Loftus Road he would join Newcastle United for £2.4 Million in 1994, he stayed at St James Park until 1998 when he was sold to Blackburn Rovers.

As well as Peacock, a host of former Newcastle United legends feature in the video including Steve Watson who is the current manager of Darlington.
