Your Herefordshire’s coverage of the Hereford Lions Tour of Holland has received more than 500,000 views across social media, with players returning to Hereford with a host of trophies.

The U13, U15, U17 and U19 boys all won their various age groups, with the U17 girls finishing runners up.

The Hereford Lions were also crowned the overall champions of the tournament at Brederodes.

The players were treated to excellent travel from Hereford based CMD Travel Hereford who drove the players from Hereford, across the ferry at Dover to Calais, before heading into Holland.

They were then welcomed on arrival in Vianen to their hosts for the weekend. Hereford Lions have since received feedback from families that hosted the youngsters from Hereford praising their behaviour.

On Friday, the players were treated to a trip to a theme park, before taking part in friendly matches before the tournament officially started on Saturday.

All the five sides from Hereford reached the finals for their respective age groups.
