There was a minutes applause before the Kington Town v Gloucester City Reserves match on Saturday in memory of town stalwart Billy Mayglothling.
Billy was a integral part of Kington Town Football Club serving the club in numerous roles including, chairman, barman, player coach, minibus driver, groundsman and of course supporter.
All gate proceeds will be donated to support the running of the youth teams as a tribute to Bill whose commitment to developing the club and securing its future was unwavering.
Kington Town beat the visitors from Gloucester 6-4 in the Herefordshire Premier League match with a hat-trick from Jack Gittoes, a brace from Aiden Rhodes and a goal from Callum Maddy.
