Westfields were in fine scoring form once again with a 4-1 victory over Roman Glass St George on Saturday.
Goals from Jamie Bird, Josh Hunt, Matthew MacDonald and Daniel Stoneman ensured all three points for Phil Glover’s men who will now turn all their attention to the local derby against Hereford Lads Club on 27th December.
Lads Club did Westfields a favour on Saturday by taking a point off Malvern Town. Goals from Cameron Peters and Jordan Burke grabbing a well deserved point for the hosts who battled well.
Westfields find themselves eight points behind leaders Bishops Cleeve who were convincingly beaten on Saturday 5-2 at Westbury United. Fields have a game in hand on the leaders and are currently unbeaten in eight Hellenic Premier Division games.
