Harrison Summers was the star of the show as Westfields took the spoils in the big local derby against Hereford Lads Club at Allpay Park this afternoon.

Westfields took advantage of Lads Club going down to ten men with goals from Josh Hunt and Matt MacDonald securing victory.

In truth, Westfields edged things overall, even when the sides both had eleven men, but Lads Club frustrated the hosts and grew into the game as it went on.

Olly Price received a second yellow card for the visitors and that gave Harrison Summers the opportunity to punish Lads Club with his pace. The result in front of a bumper crowd of 587 puts Westfields second in the Hellenic Premier Division, eight points off leaders Bishops Cleeve but with a game in hand.

More soon.
