Local football sides will return to action this evening, with the majority of clubs expected to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II with a minute’s silence prior to kick off.

The Premier League, Football League, National League and grassroots football fixtures were all postponed over the weekend as a mark of respect following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, but football authorities gave permission yesterday (Monday) for matches to resume from today. 

Hereford FC travel to Brackley Town in the National League. The Bulls will be looking to return to winning ways.

Meanwhile Hereford Lads Club travel to Cribbs in the Hellenic League Floodlit Cup.

Wellington Rangers host Hereford Pegasus Reserves in the Herefordshire Football League Premier Division. Westfields Development are also in action, with a fixture against Fownhope 1sts at allpay park.
