The Men’s teams are pleased to be starting the season with invaluable new kit which will help them prepare properly for every match.

The partnership between Bloor Homes, Ledbury Town FC and Ledbury Swifts FC is now moving into its third year, during which time the sponsorship package has helped the clubs revamp the stand, refurbish facilities and benefit from new playing and training kit. Bloor Homes has also provided expert professional advice and technical assistance with the clubs’ proposed move to new facilities.

The new season coincides with Bloor Homes’ naming of its new nearby development as ‘The Arches at Ledbury’ – a nod to the magnificent Viaduct Bridge which will be a landmark feature facing the new homes.

While the development of 625 two, three, four and five bedroom private and affordable homes doesn’t officially open until well into the football season next year (early 2024), people can register their interest now in readiness for early bird prices to be released later in 2023.

Jessica Hewlett, Bloor Homes Senior Sales Advisor at The Arches at Ledbury said:

“We’re excited to see the development name announced and the new website page and signs go up and we can’t wait to open our Showhomes early next year.

“There are some locations that are really special, and Ledbury is definitely one of them.

“The new community at The Arches will have so many lovely benefits right on the doorstep; The Arches is surrounded by stunning English countryside just a short drive from Eastnor Castle and the beautiful Malvern Hills, yet it’s within walking distance of Ledbury town centre which is steeped in history and exudes charm through its cobbled streets, independent shops and choice of pubs and restaurants.

“Yet this location also has everything you need for 21st century living, including commuter links to Hereford and Worcester, Ofsted rated good and outstanding schools for families, supermarkets for the weekly food shop, and let’s not forget Ledbury Town and Ledbury Swifts football teams – either to join and play, or go and support!”

With so much on offer, Bloor Homes is certain Ledbury will be a very popular location something Peter Boyle, Chairman of Ledbury Town FC agrees with, saying:

“Ledbury is definitely a lovely place to live, work – and play football – and we have said from the start we completely support Bloor Homes’ decision to bring a new community to our lovely town.

“The company’s presence here has helped to make things better for our clubs, their teams and our supporters through improved facilities, much needed kit and professional support. We are looking forward to seeing the new homes when they are built and hopefully welcoming new players and supporters amongst the new residents at The Arches.”
