Hereford Pegasus FC and Sporting Club Inkberrow could not be separated in their Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division clash last night as they played out a goalless draw under the KGD Stadium floodlights.

Jordan Williamson came close to breaking the deadlock for the hosts in the 16th minute when he cut inside from out on the left flank but his ensuing effort flew narrowly wide of the far post.

Pegasus captain Sam Rawlings saw his header saved from a corner two minutes later before Williamson latched on to a long ball played forward in the 28th minute but his dipping half volley went narrowly the wrong side of the far post.

Carlos Moreira went close with a 65th minute header before Williamson surged towards goal eight minutes later but his low drive was saved by the visiting custodian.

However, neither side was unable to find the crucial goal that would have secured all three points and had to be content with a share of the spoils as both clubs looked to maintain their early season promotion hopes.
