Hereford FC will find out who the club will play on the opening day of the 2023/24 season when the fixtures are released at 1pm this afternoon.

The Bulls, who are buoyant following the arrival of manager Paul Caddis and several summer signings, including striker Andy Williams, will be keen to get the season off to a strong start to keep the feel good factor that is around the club at present going throughout the new season.

The club had a positive start to pre season, with a strong side beating local side Hereford Pegasus 4-1 on Saturday. The Bulls next pre season fixture is this coming Saturday, when they entertain West Brom U21s at Edgar Street.

‘Tickets are now available for Saturday’s pre-season friendly against West Brom U21s.

‘The Young Baggies finished in the playoffs in last season’s Premier League 2 Division 2 and will provide a good test for our side.

‘All of our bars, including our Fanzone, will be open from 12pm on Saturday with a DJ, outside bar, ice creams and more! PLUS Radford’s will be open after the game for any supporters wanting to soak up the atmosphere with a brand new big screen TV and lounge area.’

Bulls manager Paul Caddis was impressed with the runout the team had at Hereford Pegasus on Saturday.

“The boys have worked extremely hard over the past couple of weeks and we looked good in patches.

“There are areas that we can improve upon, of course, and that’s what these games are all about.

“We want to be able to build relationships all over the pitch and the more games we play, the better this will become.

“It’s the first game of what will be a long season; we’ll be working hard on our shape this week in readiness for our next test, which comes in the form of a West Bromwich Albion XI at home on Saturday, a game that we are really looking forward to.”
