Southern League Central side Kettering Town have announced that experienced striker Gary Hooper has left the club by mutual consent.
Hooper had a successful loan spell at Edgar Street in 2008.
Unfortunately Hereford were not able to agree a transfer fee with his parent club Southend and Hooper ended up signing for Scunthorpe United. He later played for Celtic, Norwich and Sheffield Wednesday amongst other clubs.
Hooper has scored goals in the Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two, Conference National, Conference South, Southern League Central, FA Cup, League Cup, Football League Trophy, FA Trophy, Champions League, Europa League, Scottish Premier League Scottish Cup & Scottish League Cup.
