Former Hereford United goalkeeper James Bittner has become goalkeeping coach at League One Bristol Rovers.
Bittner was at Edgar Street during the 2012/2013 season and made 34 appearances.
A statement on the Rovers website said
Bristol Rovers is delighted to announce the appointment of James Bittner as the new men’s first-team Goalkeeping Coach.
A former shot-stopper with over 250 professional career appearances, Bittner has represented the likes of Exeter City, Forest Green Rovers, Salisbury City and Hereford United.
Since moving into coaching, the 43-year-old has worked with Newport County, Reading, Cheltenham Town and, most recently, alongside former Bristol Rovers manager Darrell Clarke at Barnsley.
