Former Hereford FC player Dara O’Shea is set to leave Championship side Burnley, with Brentford leading the race for his signature.
Media reports suggest O’Shea has rejected a move to newly promoted Ipswich Town to link up with Thomas Frank’s Bees.
O’Shea was at Edgar Street on loan from West Brom during the 2017/2018 season, where the club won the Southern League Premier title. He was also part of the Hereford FC team which reached the 2nd round of the FA Cup and were knocked out by League One side Fleetwood in a replay.
25 year old O’Shea is a Republic of Ireland international with 26 caps, and has made 61 Premier League appearances for West Brom and Burnley.
