“U18s lead coach in the city I grew up in, really excited about this one.”

Gowling spent the majority of his playing career in Leagues One and Two at Kidderminster Harriers, AFC Bournemouth, Gillingham, Grimsby Town & Lincoln City.
He had a loan spell at Hereford United during the 2008/2009 season and returned in December 2018 when the club was now known as Hereford FC. He was appointed as caretaker manager in January 2020 after the dismissal of Russell Slade.
His tenure at Edgar Street ended by mutual consent after a disappointing run of results and 1-0 defeat to Farsley Celtic in February 2022
