Hereford FC secured a superb 3-0 victory over Leamington, to give their play off hopes a boost in the National League North.

The Bulls had the better of the first half, but just lacked that final ball, and went into the half time break at 0-0.

Whatever manager Paul Caddis said at half time worked, with the Bulls camping Leamington in the Hereford half for much of the second period.

Matt Preston, Tate Campbell and Jaiden White with the goals for the Bulls in front of a crowd of more than 3,800.

Attention now turns to Monday, when the Bulls travel to local rivals, and top of the National League North table Kidderminster Harriers. Hereford have almost sold out their allocation and will be cheered on by an impressive following.

Elsewhere, Westfields Football Club defender Cameron Davies made his debut for Alvechurch in the Southern League Premier Central Division on Saturday. Alvechurch won 4-1 and Davies was given ten minutes by manager Tim Flowers.

It was also a ‘Good Friday’ for Cawley Cox and his Merthyr Town side who beat Sholing 3-0 away in the Southern League Premier South, to leave themselves just one point away from securing promotion to the National League.
