Hereford FC’s FA Cup tie against Portsmouth has been chosen as one of the ties to be televised in the First Round.
The match will be played at Edgar Street on Friday 4th November, with tv coverage starting on BBC Two from 7.30pm.
The Bulls will receive a significant financial boost with the tie being chosen for tv coverage. Hereford FC will also be expecting a capacity attendance of close to 5,000 for the game.
Initial ticket details were released by the club on Wednesday. The club said:
“We’re delighted with the FA Cup 1st Round draw and are excitedly looking forward to welcoming Portsmouth FC to Edgar Street.
“We’re currently awaiting confirmation of the date of the game and will update supporters as soon as we have received clarification of the date of the match from the FA.
“In the meantime we are happy to confirm that tickets will be sold with the following priority.”
PRIORITY 1 – Season ticket holders, HUST Members and Junior Bulls
PRIORITY 2 – Supporters who purchase a ticket for the Hereford FC vs AFC Fylde game
PRIORITY 3 – General Sales
