It was a busy weekend of football action once again, with Hereford FC suffering a disappointing 2-0 home defeat against Darlington with manager Paul Caddis saying that the Bulls need to ‘move on and get back to winning ways’.
It was a disappointing afternoon for Hereford, with the visitors scoring two second half goals to take all three points in front of a crowd of almost 3,000 at Edgar Street.
Elsewhere, Westfields were beaten 2-0 on the road by bottom of the table Malmesbury Victoria. Fields had plenty of the ball but failed to convert their chances.
Westfields have the chance to bounce back when they host Alcester Town in the Herefordshire FA County Challenge Cup Semi Final at Allpay Park on Tuesday evening.
Hereford Pegasus play this evening when they host Highworth Town at the KGD Stadium in a 7.45pm kick off.
Wellington grabbed an important point in the Hellenic League Division One relegation fight, with a 1-1 home draw against play off chasing Stonehouse Town.
In the Herefordshire Football League, 13th placed Ro-Stars Hereford caused an upset with a 2-0 victory when they became the first team to take all three points from Bromyard Town in the league since August.
