A selection of talented Herefordshire boxers are set to compete against Cornwall Select in the Herefordshire Box Cup later this month.
The highly anticipated event will take place at thePoint4 in Hereford on Saturday 22nd June.
Local boxing talent from The City of Hereford Boxing Academy, Leominster Police Boxing Academy and Hereford Boxing Academy will all take part in an event that is becoming more and more popular every year.
Both teams will be vying for glory as the coveted Herefordshire Box Cup is up for grabs and will be rewarded to the team who secures the most winning bouts.
In total, 15 (junior & Senior) bouts will be featured throughout the event, providing a fantastic opportunity for the local talent to shine.
These bouts will showcase the skills, determination and resilience of amateur boxers from Herefordshire and Cornwall.
Hereford Boxing Academy, Leominster Police Boxing Academy and The City of Hereford Boxing Academy (now merged with Bromyard ABC) will each enter 5 boxers to represent Team Herefordshire.
Some of the names confirmed to be taking part include Louie Simon, Marcel Tresler, Dom Pitt, Jacob Gray, Aiden Hampsey, Reece Edwards, Jay Reidy, Glenn Hodgkins, Sam Gwynne, Max Haycock, Jack Lilwall.
