Local darts player Jim Williams has been drawn against Paolo Nebrida from the Philippines in the 1st round of the 2025 PDC World Darts Championships. The popular event which is shown on television across the world takes place this month at Alexandra Palace.
The game is scheduled to take place just after 7pm on Wednesday 18th December and will be show on Sky Sports Darts.
Williams who is ranked 46th on the current order of merit defeated former champion Peter Wright at last years tournament before going out to to legendary player Raymond Van Barneveld.
The winner will face Ross Smith in the 2nd round who is ranked 19th.
