You will remember us posting the devastating news yesterday that Hereford FC support Tom Emmett has sadly passed away. Tom was extremely popular at Edgar Street and loved by both players and supporters.
One of Tom’s friends has come up with the idea of supporters remembering Tom by having a #DrinkForTom this Saturday, a day of the week that Tom usually spent enjoying himself with friends at Edgar Street.
Tom also volunteered at the club as part of his role with the Disabled Bulls, and his hard work ensured that a dedicated disabled area was installed in front of Radford’s Bar so that fellow disabled fans could have a grandstand view of matches.
Tom, won many sporting medals in his school days and went on to play wheelchair rugby with Hereford Harriers.
He also loved wrestling and was a regular attendee of Ironfist Wrestling events at the Richmond Club. Our thoughts are with Tom’s family and friends at this sad time.
