Hereford FC were denied their first win since 14th August after Altrincham equalised late on to share the spoils at Edgar Street in front of a crowd of 2220.

Like Tuesday night away at Telford, it wasn’t pretty, but another solid, hard working performance, which included James Roberts first goal for the club since arriving in October, it looked like the Bulls were going to come away with a much needed three points.

However, some naive defending late on lead to Hereford conceding a free-kick in a dangerous position and Altrincham cruelly punished the home side after the ball dropped nicely for them in the penalty area.

So the wait for a win goes on, but things are definitely improving and Hereford were unlucky not to come away with the 3 points today.

Looking ahead, there are two huge games coming up now at Edgar Street against relegation rivals FC United of Manchester on Saturday 10th November and Southport on Tuesday 13th November, where Hereford will look to get two wins on the board to pull away from the dreaded drop zone.
