Super sub Jamie Bird struck a late winner as Hereford FC came from behind to secure a 2-1 victory against high flying Leamington at Edgar Street.

The Bulls were off the pace in the first half and fell behind midway through the half. Eliot Richards missed a great chance to put the Bulls level before half time.

The Bulls were a different side in the second half. Attacking the  Meadow End, they had momentum and soon won a penalty which Harry White smashed home. The Bulls were level.

Then came Jamie Bird off the bench. His late winner combined with his assist on last Saturday will surely put him in contention for a starting place this Saturday when second placed Hereford travel to table topping Chorley in what should be a thriller.
