West Mercia Police officers and a crew from Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called to a business property on Commercial Road in Hereford last night.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:
“A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Hereford Fire Station was called at 23:56 on 8th February to assist West Mercia Police at a property in Commercial Road, Hereford.
“Positive pressure ventilation was used to clear smoke from the property caused by a faulty smoke cloak system. There were no casualties and the incident was left with the business owner.
“The incident was marked as pending closure at 00:19.”
