A Hereford Shopping Centre was cordoned off this morning, following an incident in the early hours. 

West Mercia Police officers cordoned off an area of the footpath near Debenhams , with a further cordon in place behind that in the shopping centre.

West Midlands Ambulance Service were also in attendance. 

An update from West Mercia Police said:

“Officers were called around 12.40am this morning to a concern for welfare at The Old Market Shopping Centre in Hereford.

“The incident has now been brought to a safe conclusion. 

“Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding.”
