There is a significant police presence in the Belmont area of Hereford this lunchtime.
Local residents have reported seeing the Police helicopter circling overhead for almost an hour.
There are also reports of officers in attendance at Belmont Country Park and in the Newton Farm area of the city.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police has provided Your Herefordshire with the below update:
“We’re carrying out searches for a person following a report of a concern for welfare.”
