Kempton Avenue in Hereford is closed in both directions this morning after emergency services were called to a collision.

West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews are all at the scene of the collision. 

A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service provided an update for Your Herefordshire:

“Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Hereford Fire Station were called at 07:51 on 27 September to an RTC in Kempton Avenue, Hereford. 

“The incident involved three cars, two of which were on all four wheels with the other on its side. No persons trapped but one female casualty was handed over to the care of paramedics. 

“The road was blocked in both directions with ambulance and police also in attendance. Vehicles are being made safe by fire service personnel.”

Motorists are advised to avoid the area. Surrounding routes are likely to be busy with temporary traffic lights in place on Grandstand Road.
