Emergency services are responding to reports of an overturned vehicle on a major route near Hereford this morning.
The collision has occurred on the A438 Hereford to Ledbury Road near Lugwardine.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:
“A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Hereford Fire Station was called at 08:09 on 5 February to make a vehicle safe after an RTC on the A438 at Lugwardine Bridge.
“A car had left the carriageway and come to rest in a field. No persons were trapped and the vehicle was made safe.
“One female casualty in her 20s was handed over to the care of the ambulance service who attended along with police.
“The incident was marked as pending closure at 08:33.”
West Mercia Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service are also at the scene.
The road is currently partially blocked.
Motorists are advised to use an alternative route.
