The air ambulance has been called to a collision on a major route in Herefordshire this morning.
The collision is on the A438, between Staunton on Wye and Bridge Sollars, near the junction for Mansell Gamage.
We understand West Mercia Police and West Midlands Ambulane Service are in attendance.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:
‘We were called to an incident on the A438 near Staunton on Wye, Hereford at 7.35am and sent an ambulance, paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford to the scene.
‘On arrival, crews discovered a motorbike had been involved in a collision.
‘The motorcyclist, a man, was treated by ambulance staff for potentially serious injuries and conveyed via land ambulance to Hereford County Hospital.’
The road is currently closed.
Motorists are advised to use an alternative route.
