Police have arrested four people on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident in Stourport-on-Severn.

Officers arrested three men aged, 48,18,21 and a 21-year-old woman yesterday (Monday 14 December) in relation to an attack which happened at around 10.45pm on Friday 11 December, in Crossway Green. All four have bailed.

We are still appealing for witnesses to the incident and are keen to speak to a motorist who we believe stopped to help.

ORIGINAL POLICE APPEAL:

At around 10.45pm last night (Friday 11 December) in Crossway Green on the A449 three men and a woman arrived in the area in a blue Ford where a violent incident then occurred. A truck which was driven the wrong way on the A449 collided with the three men, before making off and being abandoned nearby. An unknown silver coloured vehicle was also involved in the incident.  All three men have been admitted to hospital with serious leg injuries.

Police believe a passing motorist stopped to help at the incident and they are keen to speak to them and any other witnesses.
