Police in the West Midlands were stunned earlier when a driver decided to leave their car in the middle of the motorway after running out of fuel.
The driver locked the car up in lane three of the Aston Expressway in the West Midlands and went on the search to find some fuel. The driver didn’t notify emergency services but they were quickly notified of the incident and were quickly on the scene. The driver was found and reported for due care (running out of fuel), leaving a vehicle in a dangerous position and having no mot. The vehicle was also seized by officers.
