Police have arrested a number of people at an anti-lockdown protest in Liverpool today.
The protest took place in the city centre with over 200 people demanding a swift end to the national lockdown. Those protesting shouted ‘freedom’ and ‘shame on you’ at officers.
The crowd was initially very small but soon grew. It is the latest in a series of anti-lockdown protests in Liverpool and across the UK over recent weeks.
