Motorists advised to plan ahead, with a road closure set to cause significant issues on the A4103 (Hereford to Worcester Road) in January.
According to the Herefordshire Council Roadworks page, a road closure will be in place on the A4103 from Moorend Wychend Road To Grove Farm Road from Monday 13th January to Friday 24th January.
According to the Herefordshire Council roadworks website, this work will take place from 9am-3.30pm daily.
The closure is in place to carry out the following work:
‘Works to fell Ash Dieback trees. Works to take place in verge. Vehicles to be parked in road.’

A letter sent to residents said:
We need to inform you about essential tree removal works due to ash dieback disease on A4103 from B4214 Castle Frome of B4219 Cowleigh Road.
Works will be taking place under a full road closure, starting on Monday 13th January 2025 to (and including) Friday 24th January 2025.
The road will be closed between 9:00 and 15:30 each day, (no weekends).
The fully signed diversion route is via the A44 / A465 Bromyard / A417 Burley Gate and vice versa.
We will do all we can to provide vehicular access to properties, although there may be times when we are not able to do so safely or there may be delays.
You can get help and guidance from the dedicated marshals on site.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you. At Balfour Beatty we work in partnership with Herefordshire Council to minimise the impact of our work and try to keep all disruption to a minimum – we appreciate your patience.
The programme of work may change in certain circumstances, such as severe weather. This may happen at short notice and without further notification. All changes will be highlighted on the advance warning signs, which you’ll find onsite at the roadworks.
