An emergency road closure is in place in Hereford tonight.
The closure is in place on Commercial Road. Herefordshire Highways (Balfour Beatty) are currently working to resolve an issue with a sinkhole.
The sinkhole appeared on the main road near Mr Chips.
The road has been closed between the junction for Blueschool Street and Hereford County Hospital since earlier this evening.
Teams are expected to continue to work overnight, in the hope of resolving the issue by tomorrow morning.
Motorists are advised to use an alternative route.
